Aldon Ready for IBM Rational Certified

Aldon Lifecycle Manager plug-ins are available for IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software (RAD) and WebSphere Development Studio Client (WDSc) development environments and "Ready for IBM Rational" certified. Based on Eclipse 3.0, these plug-ins provide sophisticated application lifecycle management from within the RAD and WDSc interfaces and are available at no charge to Aldon Lifecycle Manager customers.

Aldon Lifecycle Manager plug-ins implementation fully support the RAD and WDSc environment as architected by IBM:

• Native source comparison
• Team synchronization view
• Team repository implementation
• Any resource view such as Remote Systems Explorer and Java Package Explorer

• Any IDE perspective, such as Java or C++

Application developers and project managers can operate on objects for Microsoft® Windows®, UNIX®, Linux®, i5/OST and OS/400T from within a single repository. The Aldon plug-ins use standard RAD and WDSc menu options and functions so developers do not need additional training to understand the user interface, views or functionality. Even complex, multi-tier, cross platform projects, including those involving Web services or SOA applications, can be developed, tested and managed within the RAD and WDSc interfaces.
