CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS STANDARDIZES ON ALDON APPLICATION CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Competitive Evaluation Points to Aldon as Most Productive, Accurate Change Management Solution
Emeryville, Calif. - January 18, 2005 - Consolidated Communications, Inc., a leader in voice and data communications services, has selected Aldon , the leading provider of enterprise software configuration and change management solutions, for its application change management needs. Consolidated Communications purchased Aldon Lifecycle Manager for iSeries, Aldon Harmonizer, and Aldon Deployment Manager for iSeries to manage its billing systems company-wide.

When Consolidated's headquarters in Illinois recently acquired Texas-based TXU Communications, an existing Aldon customer, the entire company did a comparison of change management vendors and found Aldon to have more automated capabilities and flexibility, which is crucial to Consolidated Communications' change management needs. As a result, Consolidated selected Aldon as the company standard and will implement Aldon across the entire company.

Aldon will help the developers at Consolidated Communications manage its main billing systems, along with other applications. All of these systems run on the iSeries AS/400.
