Aldon Launches Developer Turkey Awards

Share your Most Frightening Development Nightmare and Most Remarkable Project Turnaround Story and Win a Nintendo Wii

Emeryville, CA—October-15-2008—Aldon, the ALM experts, today announced the first annual Developer Turkey Awards to honor and reward application development professionals who have either survived a development catastrophe, or averted one by having the right process-centric solutions in place. The first place winners of the two categories—Most Frightening Development Nightmare and Most Remarkable Project Turn-Around Story (for Aldon customers only)—will each receive a Nintendo Wii and a juicy gourmet Turkey just in time for the holidays. Aldon will also make a $100 contribution on behalf of each winner to honor a local charity or food bank of their choice. Second prize winners will each receive an Apple iPod Touch.

“Application development is building business success around the world but it comes with its highs and lows and plenty of lessons learned,” said Matt Scholl, Chief Executive Officer, Aldon.“ We created the Aldon Developer Turkey Awards to honor developers who have been on both ends of that high/low spectrum and came out all the wiser. Any application developer, development team or development manager is eligible for the award. Applicants must click here to enter and share the specifics on their high and low turkey award scenarios. It could have happened last week, last month or years ago and should include an element in which an ALM solution helped or could have helped tremendously if you had it back then. Deadline for submissions is November 12, 2008 at midnight. Winners will be notified on or around November 19, 2008.

All submissions become the sole property of Aldon and the company reserves the right to publish the winning entries and the name of the winners without additional permission from the contest winner.
